Did you see her nails?

Lets use one word to describe her... Fabulous. I saw "Funny Girl" for the first time when I was 14, and became one of my favorite movies. I don't understand why people even have to question her. Barbara Stresiand is one of the beautiful people, and I wish I could be carried around in her pocket all day long. Not many people in show biz would keep that nose, lets face it, she is a warrior on the front lines for the deviated septum. Her powerhouse voice just cuts to the core of me, and if you don't agree you are not really listening. Recently I watched "The Way we Were" and once again she comes out shining. That might be because of course she gets to be married to Robert Redford. Even if just for pretend, Robert Redford would be one hell of a husband. He is DELICIOUS. But again, thats a different blog. The point here is that Barbara is one of a kind, and she should be celebrated! Lets all pitch together for a national Barbara Streisand Day and everyone would have to stay home and watch all her movies ( undoubtedly everyone would be sad because all her movies are depressing, she does sorrow very well). Here is a link to one of my favorite songs from "Funny Girl". If you don't believe me, go ahead and watch it, you can see the angst on her face, she sings from her heart.

" ..A feeling deep in your soul, says you are half now you're whole. No more hunger and thirst, but first, be a person who needs people "
- Barbara Streisand
