Labyrinth...

Ok, so today I was thinking about the Labryinth ({ and not just the movie Labyrinth, but the general concept of a Labyrinth) and I was dwelling on why I like them so much. First of all, I saw the movie "The Labyrinth" when I was 8 years old, fell in love with David Bowie, and wanted to escape to the Goblin City as well. I knew when I was 8 that David and I had a connection, but that is a different blog. Anyways, Labyrinth's are super cool. The idea of them stated in Crete ( where I have been by the way) and the God Daedalus created the Labyrinth to hold the Minotaur ( half man half bull). This of course was some kind of gift for some kind of other god, and it didn't end well because Deadalus couldn't get himself out of the labyrinth after he built it. The weirdness behind the labyrinth goes even further, and many different cultures have used it in their histories for many different purposes. When you find the middle of the Labyrinth, it is said that you will find your own personal utopia and serenity. It is not about what lies in the middle, but the journey in which you took to get there. Hmmm.. cheesy? Maybe, but I think that Labyrinths should be respected and feared ( just like David). ......... Dance magic Dance.
